1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HTML Viewer ("App") developed by NexLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users including free users and premium subscribers. Use of optional features such as FTP, GitHub integration, or the AI Assistant constitutes additional acceptance of the specific conditions outlined for those features below.

2 License to Use

NexLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional purposes on Android devices you own or control.

You may:

• View, create, and edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files on your device
• Browse the web using the built-in browser
• Use developer tools, templates, and code snippets included in the App
• Sync files with FTP servers or GitHub repositories you own or have permission to access
• Use the AI assistant to analyse or improve code you have rights to
• Use the App on multiple devices you own

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App to any third party
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent premium subscription restrictions

3 Subscriptions & Payments

HTML Viewer offers an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features including an ad-free experience, advanced tools, and cloud sync features.

Billing

Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours prior to period end at the same price.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain premium access until then. No partial refunds are given for unused time.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to their refund policies. NexLab does not process refunds directly. For Google Play refunds, visit Google Play support.

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly indicated before purchase. At the end of the trial, your subscription converts to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4 Advertising

The free version of HTML Viewer displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these advertisements.

• Ads may be personalised based on your interests and device information
• NexLab does not control the content of advertisements served by AdMob
• Premium subscribers enjoy a fully ad-free experience
• Some features in the free version require watching a rewarded video ad for temporary access

Ad availability depends on your region and network connection. NexLab is not responsible if ad content is temporarily unavailable.

5 User Content

You retain full ownership of all HTML files, projects, code snippets, and content you create or import using the App. NexLab does not claim any ownership over your content.

• Local storage: Your files are stored on your device and are not uploaded to NexLab servers
• Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you create and any websites you access
• No monitoring: NexLab does not monitor or review the content you view or create
• Version history: The App stores up to 10 automatic snapshots per file locally — these are solely for your use and can be deleted anytime

6 Cloud & Sync Features

HTML Viewer offers optional cloud connectivity features. These are entirely opt-in and are not required to use the App.

6.1 Google Drive Sync

6.2 FTP Sync

The FTP feature allows you to connect to FTP/FTPS servers you own or have permission to access.

• FTP credentials (host, username, password) are stored encrypted on your device only
• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorisation to access any FTP server you connect to
• NexLab is not responsible for any data transmitted to or from FTP servers
• Use of FTPS (FTP over SSL) is strongly recommended for security

6.3 GitHub Sync

The GitHub integration allows you to open and commit files to GitHub repositories using a Personal Access Token.

• Your GitHub Personal Access Token is stored encrypted on your device only
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your token has appropriate permissions and is kept secure
• You must only sync repositories you own or have explicit permission to access and modify
• NexLab is not responsible for any commits, changes, or data pushed to GitHub repositories

7 AI Assistant

HTML Viewer includes an optional AI-powered code assistant that can explain or improve selected code snippets.

• The AI feature sends only the code you explicitly select to a third-party AI service for processing
• Do not submit code containing passwords, API keys, personal data, or confidential information to the AI assistant
• AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes only — you are responsible for reviewing and testing any AI output before use
• NexLab does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses
• The AI assistant is a premium feature — availability may vary based on your subscription status

8 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Create, distribute, or access content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Access FTP servers or GitHub repositories without authorisation
• Use the AI assistant to generate malicious, harmful, or illegal code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

9 Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, templates, built-in snippets, and all content provided by NexLab, is the exclusive property of NexLab and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

HTML templates, starter files, and code snippets provided within the App are licensed for use within the App. You may use the HTML files you create with the App for any purpose, including commercial projects.

Third-party libraries and services used within the App retain their own intellectual property rights and are governed by their respective open-source licenses.

10 Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• All user data (history, bookmarks, projects, snippets) is stored locally on your device
• No personal data is transmitted to NexLab servers
• FTP and GitHub data is transmitted directly between your device and those services
• Selected code sent to the AI assistant is processed by a third-party AI provider and not retained
• Google AdMob may collect anonymised data for ad serving in the free version

11 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranty that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranty that defects will be corrected
• Warranty regarding the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions
• Warranty regarding the security or reliability of third-party sync services (FTP, GitHub)

NexLab does not warrant that the App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

12 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NexLab shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, files, or code — including files synced to FTP or GitHub
• Damages arising from use of the AI assistant feature
• Damages resulting from unauthorised access to FTP servers or GitHub repositories
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Any content accessed through the built-in browser

In no event shall NexLab's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10.00 USD if no payment was made.

13 Termination

NexLab reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

You may terminate use of the App at any time by uninstalling it. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through your Google Play account settings before uninstalling to avoid further charges.

Upon termination, your license to use the App immediately ceases. All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

14 Changes to Terms

NexLab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the App.

For significant changes affecting sync features, subscription pricing, or AI data handling, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through an in-app notice or app store update notes.

15 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
